Dr. Jeffrey Peterson, MD
Dr. Peterson was born and raised in Honolulu and is thrilled to have returned to Hawaii to practice ophthalmology.  He earned both an M.D. and a Ph.D from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He was specialty trained through a fellowship in glaucoma at the Robert Cizik Eye Clinic at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston.

Dr. Mikiʻala Souza, OD
Dr. Driscoll is an ophthalmologist who did his fellowship training in cornea and anterior segment disease at Bascom Palmer Institute, one of the most highly reputable eye care hospitals in the nation.  Dr. Driscoll performs various anterior segment surgeries including cataract and pterygium surgeries.




Dr. Souza is originally from Makawao, Maui. She graduated from Kamehameha Schools on Oahu and went on to receive her doctorate in Optometry at Pacific University in Oregon.  She is a therapeutic optometrist who received her residency training at Bascom Palmer.

Sugiki Portis Yim Eye Center

Dr. Michael Yim was born and raised in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. He received his medical degree from the John A. Burns School of Medicine and completed his residency at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.  After finishing residency, Dr. Yim completed a glaucoma fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, where he spent an additional year training in the surgical and medical management of glaucoma.
